The marketplace history records the native item price. The delivered-price history records the total for the selected destination.
Keeping both series separate prevents currency movement or shipping changes from being mistaken for a product discount.
The history grows from real product checks. A new sample is stored only when an allowed refresh for that product and delivery country is due.
Stable product metadata is normalised separately from the changing offer samples. This preserves history while reducing database growth.
Amazon reference discounts, coupons and subscription savings are separate signals, not proof of an all-time low. Conditional savings are labelled accordingly.
